Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to evolve the analytics landscape by building scalable solutions to maximize value, ensure readiness for advanced analytics & AI, and accelerate speed to insights.
- Modernize Business Intelligence capabilities: automate workflows, embed AI, and standardize/streamline reporting for self-serve analytics and data-driven decisions.
- Develop and execute data enablement, data literacy, and standardization plans across Market Access data domains; maintain deep understanding of domain data needs to drive adoption.
- Develop and maintain processes/artifacts to understand business rules for key Market Access metrics (e.g., Claims, Payor Plan Hierarchies, Contracts and Rebates).
- Build efficient, repeatable ETL processes for data ingestion, integration, and standardization for analytics and reporting.
- Oversee a program to develop data literacy among APEX Analytics users.
- Partner with Business Technology Services to create data inventories, catalogs, definitions, and ERDs (Entity Relationship Diagrams) to ensure data accessibility and understanding.
- Execute data assessments and facilitate cross-functional discussions to identify business opportunities.
- Identify and secure resources to execute solutions and plan for appropriate budgets.
- Define milestones and manage risks/contingencies; communicate progress to different audiences.
- Consult with Market Access stakeholders and Business Technology Services to identify initiatives delivering data and metrics to measure/improve program execution.
- Partner with procurement to drive vendor RFPs and negotiate key contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Engineering, and/or Operations (masterβs preferred).
- 10β12 years of professional experience.
- 8β10 years relevant experience in data analysis, data management, data delivery, and business intelligence; 1β2 years people supervision.
- Hands-on ETL ability with SQL, Trino, Snowflake, and AWS.
- Strong data enablement experience (dimensional data models, ETL workflows, SQL across descriptive and predictive analytics).
- Exposure to building AI capabilities leveraging LLMs to build end-user capabilities.
- Experience enabling/assessing pharmaceutical Market Access-related data.
- Preferred: Managed Market controls and pricing concepts (Trade, PBMs, Payors, Government), pharmaceutical supply chain, health system affiliations, pharmaceutical sales teams.
- Plus: business/analytics consulting experience for technology/analytics services companies.
- Experience working in a matrixed commercial/marketing environment.
- Project management experience; strong written and verbal communication.
