Site Learning & Development (L&D) Leader

Key Objectives/Results
- Serve as the primary L&D leader at the site; align with global L&D strategies, policies, and procedures while meeting local operational needs.
- Partner with Network L&D lead and global Center of Excellence (CoE) to implement future-facing learning solutions that drive performance, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Execute site-level governance frameworks to maintain real-time inspection and audit readiness.
- Champion a modern learning culture, moving from document-based training to interactive, digital, and experiential learning.

Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, develop, and inspire the site L&D team to deliver high-quality learning initiatives supporting business objectives.
- Foster continuous learning and innovation using advanced learning technologies, AI-driven learning analytics, and immersive training methods.
- Build L&D team capabilities in learning sciences, digital learning tools, and manufacturing-specific training methodologies.
- Create initial project scope documents and leverage learning services suppliers for outsourced work.

Learning Strategy & Execution
- Design and implement site-specific L&D initiatives supporting compliance, manufacturing excellence, and employee development.
- Measure learning effectiveness using real-time data and analytics to demonstrate measurable business impact.
- Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, HR, and Technical Training teams/SMEs to embed a learning mindset.
- Ensure audit and inspection readiness by proactively addressing training gaps and regulatory expectations.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelorโ€™s degree
- 5+ years in Learning & Development, Talent Development, and/or Manufacturing Training in regulated environments
- 5+ years with GMP, regulatory requirements, or compliance training
- 2+ years managing and developing L&D teams
- Local Language

Additional Preferences
- Masterโ€™s degree (Instructional Systems Technology, Performance Technology, Adult Learning, Human Resources, or related)
- Experience with governance, audit readiness, and inspection preparedness
- Modern learning methodologies (e.g., competency-based training, AI-driven platforms, immersive technologies)
- Balance global strategy with local execution
- Stakeholder management across Operations, Quality, HR, and Global L&D
- Learning transformation experience in manufacturing
- Familiarity with LMS, digital learning tools, and AI-driven analytics
- Certification in learning & development (CPTD/ATD or similar) (plus)
- Skills-based training and workforce upskilling experience
- Ability to lead and influence at all levels; think strategically and execute in ambiguity/complexity
- Global partnering, change management, strong communication and project management, strong business acumen
- Data analysis skills for decision-making
- Human Performance Improvement (HPI) Certification
