Primary Areas of Responsibility
- Incentive Compensation (IC)
- Lead a team of IC Managers to support US Specialty (USS) commercial sales teams.
- Develop incentive programs aligned to marketing/commercial strategies and overarching Incentive Program design.
- Guide special incentive development based on business needs and guiding principles.
- Evaluate proposals for data availability and cost/time requirements.
- Support Sales Leadership in promotion of incentive plan design and concepts.
- Analyze incentive program results; identify improvements to increase motivational value.
- Create reporting, analysis, and insights to guide business decisions.
- Support sales leadership with incentive questions and investigations.
- Develop clear, motivational communication materials for incentive programs.
- Ensure timely communication of franchise-specific changes to the outside vendor team.
- Sales Planning & Field Analytics
- Lead a team for call plan strategy, alignments, and field analytics.
- Partner with sales and brand management on field force strategy, alignments, and targets for promotional/non-promotional tactics.
- Use methodologies to analyze data and provide insights/recommendations for field deployment and customer targeting.
- Develop tools/processes for sales force size, structure, and resource allocation.
- Drive complex projects within budget/timelines; balance short- and long-term objectives.
- Design and deploy innovative solutions meeting current/future business requirements.
- Lead junior team members in franchise analytics using advanced modeling/analytics.
- Present analysis results to senior management and sales leadership; share best practices with stakeholders.
- Manage day-to-day vendor relationships; ensure vendor-assisted projects are on budget/timeline with appropriate methodologies.

Qualifications
- BA/BS required; Master’s in Business/Science/Engineering preferred.
- 8+ years analytical and/or commercial operations experience (preferably Pharma).
- Proven people management experience.
- Strong brand-partner capability; interacts with senior sales leaders and brand teams.
- Problem-solving across departments; leads solutions/innovation.
- Experience with pharmaceutical sales data sources and field reporting platforms/systems (especially for Incentive Compensation).
- Extensive understanding of pharmaceutical field sales activities, roles, and behaviors.
