Associate Director, Hematology Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) Northeast
Role Overview
- Field-based, non-sales position on the Commercial Hematology Marketing team focused on enhancing interactions with key external US hematology thought leaders at academic centers and leading community practices for a Hematology bispecific.
- Work cross-functionally (Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Oncology/Hematology Leadership) to ensure alignment with strategy and tactical execution.
When & Where
- Must reside in: Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts.
- Travel: 60%-80% within the territory.
Responsibilities
- Engage key thought leaders to gather insights and share clinical information in the geography.
- Conduct substantive discussions on on-label product information and disease state.
- Use a customer-centric, needs-based approach to drive engagements.
- Coordinate thought leader engagements for senior executives (conferences and day-to-day business).
- Develop/maintain list of key thought leaders; assist with thought leader development.
- Support speaker bureau program placement/execution (identify speakers, manage logistics for trainings, provide feedback).
- Share insights with Marketing and other functional groups.
- Support advisory board planning (recommend participants and liaise for participation).
- Ensure interactions comply with company policies, industry regulations, and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree required; Masterโs degree or advanced education/certification a plus.
- Specialty pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience with 10+ years in 2+ of: Thought Leader Liaison, field sales, inline/regional brand marketing, relevant medical/clinical experience; hematology/oncology market experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated pharmaceutical marketing strategy expertise.
- Experience with physician-administered biologics preferred.
- Strong organizational/project management skills.
- Team player with in-depth knowledge of industry regulations and compliance.
