Associate Director, Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)

Role: Lead the development and execution of payer evidence and patient-relevant outcomes strategies for BioMarin's rare disease assets, supporting market access, HTA submissions, and regulatory interactions. Responsibilities: collaborate cross-functionally with Value & Access, Medical, Clinical, and Regulatory teams; shape outcomes research plans, support clinical trial endpoint planning, and manage external partnerships for PRO validation and health utility studies; contribute to scientific advice processes with HTA agencies and regulatory bodies; analyze clinical trial data to generate insights and strengthen value propositions; and support scientific communication and business development assessments. Requirements: 7+ years pharma industry experience, including 4+ years in HEOR and 2+ years focused on patient-relevant outcomes research; advanced degree in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, or related fields; strong understanding of market access, HTA, and health utility measurement; proven experience supporting HTA submissions, PRO measure development, and stakeholder engagement.
