Associate Director, HCP Marketing Strategy - Neuromuscular Disease

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director, Marketing Strategy, to develop and execute an integrated HCP marketing strategy grounded in HCP insights, KOL input, behavioral science, clinical understanding, and launch readiness.
- Lead branded launch readiness initiatives (promotional campaigns, field materials, digital engagement, CRM strategy, customer journeys, omnichannel activation) to drive awareness and engagement.
- Lead HCP disease-state education strategy for FSHD, including diagnostic delays, genetic confirmation, multidisciplinary care, and specialist referral/ongoing patient management.
- Support KOL engagement strategy (identify/map experts, centers of excellence, early adopters, referral influencers, thought leaders).
- Support advisory boards and expert insight sessions to inform market-shaping strategy, messaging, education priorities, referral barriers, genetic testing needs, and launch planning.
- Lead HCP segmentation, targeting, journey mapping, jobs-to-be-done, and behavioral strategy to address belief barriers, knowledge gaps, decision points, and interventions.
- Translate clinical/genetic/epidemiologic/patient journey insights into HCP value narratives, messaging frameworks, educational content, and behavior-change strategies.
- Drive congress strategy and execution and follow-up activation.
- Partner cross-functionally (Medical Affairs, Field Medical, Customer Engagement, Sales, Market Access, Insights & Analytics, Legal/Regulatory/Compliance, Global, Communications, agencies) for aligned, compliant execution.
- Support field force enablement with HCP education tools, objection-handling resources, messaging guidance, training, and feedback loops.
- Define HCP marketing priorities, agency scope, launch milestones, KPIs, and measurement plans.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (Masterβs or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years commercial marketing experience in rare disease/specialty/neuroscience/neurology/neuromuscular/genetic medicine/complex chronic conditions.
- 3+ years using data/analytics/customer insights to drive scalable personalization.
- Experience with HCP education (peer-to-peer, speakers, advisory boards, KOL plans) and/or congress strategies.
- Ability to translate clinical and patient journey insights into strategy and behavior-change tactics.
- Experience with segmentation, targeting, journey optimization, omnichannel engagement, CRM, field enablement, measurement planning.
- Pre-launch and launch experience; cross-functional launch execution; external expert engagement in a compliant environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration.

- Multi-functional experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Expected salary range: $152,600β$283,400/year; performance-based cash incentive; possible annual equity awards; comprehensive US benefits (health/life/disability, 401(k) with match, time off).
Location/Travel:
- East Hanover, NJ or Cambridge, MA; not remote; no relocation; up to 20% travel.
