Associate Director, HCP Marketing β Peer to Peer Education & Congress
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute innovative HCP educational initiatives across personal and non-personal promotion, peer-to-peer (P2P) engagement, national speaker bureau programs, and congress strategy.
- Lead strategy and execution of P2P education programs and HCP engagements in partnership with Medical Communications (MedComm) and external agencies.
- Build and manage a National Speaker Bureau; identify, contract, and develop KOL speakers.
- Lead annual Speaker Bureau training to ensure contracted speakers are trained compliantly and on-label.
- Identify and champion new formats for effective peer-to-peer engagement.
- Own national and regional medical congress presence from strategic planning through on-site execution.
- Coordinate congress activities (booth design, digital/print assets, scientific presentations, content development, and HCP engagements).
- Define and report success metrics.
- Serve as primary brand liaison to the MedComm Agency of Record.
- Partner with Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Medical Affairs to ensure compliant execution aligned with brand strategy.
- Collaborate with finance to manage program spend to budget and ensure fiscal accountability.
- Foster a culture of compliance across initiatives and vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in brand management or marketing with a track record of delivering commercial results.
Preferred/Plus:
- Experience in HCP personal and non-personal promotion.
- Experience working with nationally recognized Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and managing external partners (agencies/consultants).
- Specialty disease area experience.
- Sales experience.
