Associate Director, Government Pricing (GP)
Responsibilities:
- Support accurate calculation and timely submission of required government price reporting.
- Ensure compliance with pricing and reporting requirements legislated by CMS, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and applicable state legislation.
- Apply government pricing calculations for Medicaid, Medicare Part B, PHS/340B, and Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) including TriCare and the Industrial Funding Fee (IFF).
- Calculate, validate, and report accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual government pricing.
- Submit and monitor State Price Transparency regulations.
- Research and communicate causes of pricing variances versus prior periods.
- Perform processes to ensure compliant submissions (e.g., G/L reconciliations, Class of Trade (COT) review, PHS/340B eligibility review).
- Review calculations with Senior Management and obtain approval signoff before communicating prices to government agencies and/or internally.
- Maintain and update SOPs and reasonable assumptions quarterly.
- Monitor policies, procedures, and processes supporting Government Pricing submissions to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Estimate impact of pricing and policy changes.
- Conduct pricing research and analysis on special projects.
- Review commercial contract language related to Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP), and FSS tracking customers.
- Investigate government pricing trends, cross-channel impact, and provide inputs to the Gross to Net (GTN) team.
- Monitor tracking customer violations, Bona Fide Service Fee treatments, and customer COT assignment.
- Serve as subject matter expert on cross-functional teams and liaison with Commercial Leadership, Pricing, Trade, Brand, and Accounting/Finance.
- Apply Fair Market Value methodology when determining bona fide service fees to wholesalers, PBMs, and GPOs.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 7+ years of prior experience in Government Pricing OR a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, Medicare/Medicaid) with strong analytical skills.
- Open to traveling at times.
