Associate Director, Global Support Functions Communications Lead

Responsibilities:
- Execute communications for executive leaders across HR, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Procurement, and Corporate Affairs; draft, edit, and deliver clear, engaging content highlighting priorities, initiatives, and updates.
- Manage day-to-day communications: write executive messages; prepare content for internal channels and social media; support functional town halls; coordinate cross-functional messages and events.
- Translate complex topics (e.g., financial performance, compliance requirements, HR initiatives) into accessible narratives that resonate with employees globally and across business units.
- Develop and maintain an annual content strategy and editorial calendar for Global Support Functions.
- Lead HR communications efforts, including cascading key HR programs; support transitions and modernization.
- Support the EVP and HR campaigns lead with consistent messaging.
- Support executive communications (speeches, presentations, internal messaging) to enhance visibility and influence.
- Manage the content pipeline and coordinate approvals to ensure timely publishing across internal/external channels.
- Collaborate with global/regional communications teams to ensure consistency, transparency, and impact across geographies and multimedia channels.
- Foster engagement through multimedia communications and initiatives such as town halls and leader forums.
- Ensure alignment with the overall corporate narrative and build cohesive brand storytelling across support functions.
- Monitor and measure effectiveness of communications and adjust plans based on feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field (required). Advanced degree in communications/journalism or life sciences (preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of corporate communications experience, with at least 4 years in the Pharma industry (preferred).
- Experience in large, global, matrixed organizations.
- Proficiency in English; exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills; ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
- Skilled in copywriting and content development across multiple formats and channels.
- Social media–savvy; experienced writing for digital platforms.
- Strong attention to detail; ability to work under tight timelines and shifting priorities.
- Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
