Associate Director, Global R&D Sourcing

Role Summary

Associate Director, Global R&D Sourcing. BeOne is seeking experienced professionals who are highly motivated and collaborative to support growth in cancer-fighting initiatives. The role focuses on R&D system category strategy, vendor selection and supplier relationship management, and partnering with stakeholders to identify digitalization and automation opportunities to improve organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify current trends in R&D systems evolving in the industry
• Lead and support business engagement to understand their digitalization and automation requirements and develop category strategy for function and study
• Develop effective partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Lead and support Category Management to consolidate and manage vendor spend
• Lead and implement Supplier Relationship Management
• Vendor performance management and issue resolution and risk
• Oversee key MSA/rate card negotiations with vendors
• Category effective contracting and execution

Qualifications

• Education: BS/BA in related discipline with 8+ years of experience; or MS/MA in related discipline with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Contract Management Systems
• Other Qualifications: Experience in multi-culture working environment
• Travel: Some limited travel within the US may be required
• Language: English, with preference for bilingual in Chinese
