The Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Lead (GMAL) will drive medical strategy and scientific support for Sarepta’s gene therapy for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Reports to the Global Medical Affairs Lead for DMD Gene Therapy.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to development and execution of GMA strategy for product launch and life-cycle management.
- Develop medical materials (slides, talking points) for gene therapy and DMD; ensure cross-functional alignment; participate in review processes.
- Serve as SME to review and approve medical/promotional materials (including congress and symposium materials).
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to plan and execute tactics; build strong relationships.
- Stay current on medical/scientific developments via literature review and scientific meeting attendance.
- Support dissemination of scientific/medical product impact to physicians and payers.
- Contribute to congress, symposium, advisory board, and expert committee strategy and content creation.
- Model integrity and compliance; perform other related duties as needed.
- Travel approximately quarterly for internal meetings and/or scientific congresses/meetings.

Qualifications
- Remote (United States-based).
- Doctorate degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with 5+ years of relevant experience (required).
- Preferred: experience in gene therapy, rare neuromuscular disorders, or related fields.
- Analytical; proven success in matrixed organizations and influencing.
- Relationship-building with thought leaders/healthcare professionals.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking; strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to travel domestically/internationally as needed.

Benefits/Compensation
- Targeted salary range: $173,200–$216,500 per year.
