Role Summary

Associate Director - Foundry Solution Architecture, Full Stack & AIP. This role combines hands-on full-stack development with strategic architectural leadership, requiring both technical depth and the ability to design enterprise-scale solutions that integrate AI/ML capabilities across the technology stack.

Responsibilities

  • Full Stack Development with AIP Integration: Build end-to-end applications within Palantir Foundry using TypeScript, React, Python, and the AIP ecosystem for AI-driven functionality
  • Develop data pipelines with Pipeline Builder, Spark, and PySpark; integrate LLM capabilities through AIP Logic and AIP Assist
  • Create interactive UIs with React, CSS Modules, GraphQL, and Palantir Blueprint for diverse users
  • Implement AI/ML workflows from conception to production, leveraging LLMs, NLP, and automated decision-making

  • Solution Architecture: Create blueprints spanning software architecture, infrastructure design, integration patterns, and deployment strategies
  • Design system architectures across frontend, backend, data pipelines, and AI capabilities; ensure seamless integration
  • Define technology strategies aligning with business objectives and long-term goals

Responsibilities

  • AI Platform Leadership: Lead implementation of generative AI solutions using Palantir AIP; prompt engineering, LLM workflow design, and autonomous decision-making systems
  • Design AI-driven automation to reduce manual processes while ensuring data security and governance
  • Build intelligent applications combining traditional data processing with AI capabilities; enable systems that reason, learn, and adapt
  • Implement AI governance frameworks with guardrails, monitoring, and compliance measures

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Work with data scientists, business analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Mentor teams on Foundry best practices, AIP capabilities, and architecture principles
  • Drive technical decisions on stack selection, patterns, and implementation for current and future needs
  • Lead prototyping and PoC development to validate approaches and demonstrate value

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
  • 10+ years in Solution Architecture/full-stack development with TypeScript, React, Python, and modern web tech
  • 3+ years hands-on with Palantir Foundry, including Pipeline Builder, Ontology management, Workshop apps, and AIP integration
  • Palantir certifications: Foundry Data Engineer, Foundry Solution Architect, or Foundry Application Developer
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML tech including LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, and generative AI workflows
  • Experience with AWS cloud and interoperability between AWS & Foundry
  • Proven ability to design enterprise-scale systems integrating multiple technologies, platforms, and data sources
  • Excellent communication skills for executives, business users, and technical teams
  • Experience in agile environments with strong collaboration and distributed teams
