Position Summary:
Associate Director, FILSPARI HCP Marketing supports development and leads execution of integrated U.S. healthcare professional (HCP) marketing for FILSPARI (sparsentan) across IgA nephropathy (IgAN) and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Translates approved HCP and peer-to-peer (P2P) strategies into high-quality, compliant content and tactics. Independently leads assigned HCP and P2P tactics; influences via matrix collaboration and oversees external resources (no direct reports).
Responsibilities:
- Evolve integrated HCP/P2P strategy, priorities, messaging, and annual brand/tactical plans; translate direction into objectives, briefs, deliverables, resources, timelines, and success measures.
- Independently plan and execute HCP marketing tactics; serve as business/content owner through Promotional Review Committee (prepare rationale, lead agency revisions, resolve comments, secure approvals); manage review workflow/production/distribution/content library.
- Support P2P content/material execution for speaker programs/advisory boards; incorporate KOL insight, advocacy guidance, and field feedback.
- Partner on promotional resources for Clinical Account Management; support national sales meetings, plan-of-action meetings, and field training.
- Partner with Digital Marketing to optimize HCP websites and NPP content/assets (lead briefs/asset/promotional review; collaborate on architecture/measurement/deployment/optimization).
- Manage budgets/forecasts/SOWs/invoice review; partner with Contracts/Procurement on PO/vendor workflows.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelorβs in Business/Marketing/Life Sciences or related field; Masterβs preferred.
- 8+ years progressive biotech/pharma marketing (or agency experience).
Additional Skills/Experience (Preferred/Required):
- Leadership driving operational implementation with budget/external resource accountability; strong regulated HCP marketing and compliant content development; rare disease/nephrology/HCP/P2P/speaker programming experience preferred.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, manage complex cross-functional projects, agencies, timelines, budgets, and promotional review.
- Digital-enabled HCP asset knowledge; excellent communication; travel up to 25%; must be able to perform onsite/face-to-face work in San Diego (not 100% remote).

- Target base pay range: $150,000β$195,000.
