Associate Director of Oncology Training is responsible for developing and delivering the sales franchise curriculum for AbbVie US customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities:
- Lead development and delivery of the annual training strategy aligned to brand marketing imperatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Training, Medical/Clinical, Marketing, Sales Management, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access, other AbbVie groups, external vendors).
- Maintain fiscal responsibility for multiple budgets.
- Ensure customized onboarding plans are developed and followed for direct reports; develop direct reports.
- Provide training design/development support; lead and manage initiative/program design efforts (internal and external).
- Represent Field Training leadership team.
- Build and lead a team of trainers; develop curriculum that reinforces AbbVie Leadership Attributes and advances selling capabilities.
- Apply AI, adaptive learning, and experiential training approaches.
- Measure and evaluate training impact using data; update curriculum and design future learning approaches.
- Influence line management to plan/design learning strategies supporting franchise business objectives.
- Drive training strategy process (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) to improve US Sales Organization capabilities.
- Coach/lead franchise training team for current roles and future commercial leadership.
- Build relationships with Senior Commercial Management, cross-functional partners, Marketing, and T&D to ensure consistent delivery of effective commercial training.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8–15 years’ experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales and sales management, including developing/leading sales teams.
- Experience in Heme Onc and/or Multiple Myeloma (strongly preferred).
- Experience building launch training journey and curriculum (strongly preferred).
- Technical degree preferred or business/related degree acceptable with relevant training and sales experience.
- Experience in commercial or medical training required.
- Knowledge of instructional design systems or extensive training/curriculum design experience.
- Strategic thinking and business planning skills.
- Project management experience managing cross-functional teams and/or external partners.
