Role: Field Reimbursement Associate Director – Northwest, responsible for optimizing patient access to Takeda Oncology’s therapies through expert reimbursement support and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities: serve as a payer coverage subject matter expert, educate healthcare professionals on reimbursement processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., HUB, sales, market access), address access challenges, and monitor evolving payer landscapes within oncology. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree; 8+ years in biotech/pharma with 4+ years in patient access or reimbursement, including 2+ years in buy-and-bill models; strong experience in oncology reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, payer dynamics, and launch of oral/injectable oncology products. Preferred: oncology launch experience, ability to build stakeholder trust, and effective communication skills. High-Value: oncology (specific focus on US therapies), reimbursement landscape including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers, and extensive field-based engagement. Work Setup: remote (Washington-based virtual role), with travel requirements of 50-75%.
