This role is field-based. Candidates should live within the territory (CA, WA, OR, NV, AZ, UT, ID, MT, WY, CO, NM, OK, KS, NE, SD, ND, MN, IA, MO, IL, WI, AK, HI, southern Indiana, and the UP of Michigan).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach, and support the FRM team to deliver compliant access and reimbursement services.
- Conduct field ride-alongs to assess performance, ensure use of AbbVie-approved tools, and provide targeted coaching.
- Collaborate with Patient Services, Managed Health Care, Sales, and Access & Reimbursement Hub for consistent, compliant program execution.
- Integrate patient access programs into local/regional strategies; identify and address training opportunities.
- Monitor healthcare policy changes and communicate insights.
- Track call activity and operational capacity using analytics tools.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance.
- Drive professional development for direct reports.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in coverage/coding/managed healthcare/market access for immunology products (including payer account management).
- 2+ years in a leadership role (3+ preferred) with proven team/talent development.
- Strong coaching, territory/strategic account management, and market dynamics knowledge.
- Ability to coach/train and communicate complex reimbursement policies.
- Deep knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, and specialty drug acquisition/distribution.
- Ability to navigate regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
- Valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements; may drive personal or company vehicle/equipment.
