Field-based (candidates should live within the territory: CA, WA, OR, NV, AZ, UT, ID, MT, WY, CO, NM, OK, KS, NE, SD, ND, MN, IA, MO, IL, WI, AK, HI, southern Indiana, and the UP of Michigan).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers to educate HCPs on AbbVie Immunology Patient Support Programs.
- Manage, coach, and support the FRM team to deliver compliant access and reimbursement services.
- Conduct field ride-alongs to assess performance, ensure use of approved tools, and provide targeted coaching.
- Collaborate with Patient Services, Managed Health Care, Sales, and the Access & Reimbursement Hub to ensure consistent, compliant execution.
- Integrate patient access programs into local/regional strategies; identify and address training needs.
- Monitor healthcare policy changes; communicate relevant insights.
- Track call activity and operational capacity using analytics tools.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance.
- Drive professional development and performance oversight for direct reports.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in coverage, coding, managed healthcare, and/or market access for immunology products (including payer account management).
- 2+ years in a leadership role (3+ preferred) with proven talent development.
- Strong coaching and territory/strategic account management skills.
- Ability to coach, train, and communicate complex reimbursement policies.
- Deep knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D; specialty drug acquisition and distribution.
- Proven ability to navigate regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
- Travel up to 75%.
- Valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Driving a personal auto/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment.
