Responsibilities:
- Lead a best-in-class incentive compensation function, including compliant design/documentation of incentive plans; develop tracking, attainment reconciliation, and payout calculation processes; and deliver standardized incentive compensation reporting.
- Design and maintain a field-facing customer engagement model; recommend optimal field structure and sizing using subnational data; design/deploy alignment processes to optimize territory effectiveness; manage the field roster.
- Guide compliant CRM design across Market Access, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Field Leadership; monitor performance vs. key KPIs and collaborate on improvements; support systems training creation/implementation.
- Lead Invivydโs Commercial Data Environment (CDE): manage the vendor; serve as business lead for Master Data Management and Data Warehouse; ensure compliant commercial data collection/usage; develop data management roadmap and overarching data strategy; stand up and operate a cloud-based data environment; identify/enable secondary data purchases; manage ingestion, validation/QC, and integration of internal/external data sources.
- Partner with Commercial Analytics to build tools/dashboards for key performance metrics; support field targeting development and operational execution; act as thought partner to Commercial Ops and Field Leadership; lead the POA cycle; champion analytics to guide long-term strategy.
- Serve on the cross-functional data governance team to maintain data quality; oversee ad hoc initiatives; serve as HQ liaison for field teamsโmanage field communications, triage data/system inquiries.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- BS/BA in business or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or consulting industries; launch experience strongly preferred.
- 5+ years progressive experience in field/sales operations, CRM systems administration, incentive compensation, and/or consulting.
- Hands-on expertise designing/implementing/assessing incentive plans for launch products.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to frame issues, apply quantitative methods, validate data, and analyze information creatively.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to synthesize data for senior leadership.
- Deep experience with pharmaceutical data (e.g., IQVIA, SHA, patient claims, specialty pharmacy, hub data).
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Thrives in fast-paced, minimally structured environments; comfortable with ambiguity.
- Ability to self-direct with minimal supervision.
- Experience managing vendor partners/consultants and leading project teams.
- Travel to New Haven 3โ4 times per month.
Pay/Benefits (as stated):
- Base salary range: $152,000 - $202,000; eligible for annual short-term incentive and annual long-term incentive (equity).
