Associate Director, Eye Care Portfolio Marketing
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy, development, and execution of integrated strategic marketing plans for key Eye Care portfolio assets (including LOE brands and Interventional Glaucoma).
- Drive brand and portfolio performance through market analysis, resource prioritization, and cross-functional leadership to achieve sales, profit, and long-term business objectives.
- Partner with Commercial Leadership, Market Access, Finance, and Marketing to shape strategic direction, optimize channel execution, and support LOE brand success.
- Lead development and execution of plans for key LOE brands; align Market Access and Pricing strategies and growth beyond LOE (e.g., DTP, Rx-to-OTC).
- Monitor competitive activity and market dynamics; translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Oversee resource allocation, budget management, and forecast planning; manage agency/vendor/external partner relationships.
- Lead patient activation and brand strategy, implementation, budget management, and ROI analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in a related field; MBA preferred
- 7β9 years of experience in Marketing Access and/or Marketing (pharmaceutical experience preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of product management experience in pharmaceuticals (market access preferred)
- Highly desired: Market access marketing experience
- Strongly preferred: Lifecycle management experience
- Required: Pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of patient access, reimbursement, and verification of benefits
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Deep understanding of market access and payer landscape
- Strong healthcare marketing and analytical/financial acumen
- Ability to lead strategy in a complex matrixed organization; influence cross-functional and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication/storytelling/presentation; ability to simplify complex topics
- Proven budget, forecast, and resource allocation management
- Ability to develop and execute integrated channel strategies; strong problem-solving/organizational skills
- Ability to travel up to 35%
