Associate Director, Early Patient Engagement & Professional Societies

Role: Associate Director of Early Patient Engagement & Professional Societies, focusing on integrating patient insights into cancer drug development across pipeline programs. Responsibilities: support patient evidence generation, facilitate patient engagement activities (advisory boards, listening sessions), develop patient insight narratives, and coordinate external professional society collaborations. Partner with cross-functional teams such as Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Regulatory, managing project timelines, budgets, and external vendors. Ensure compliant, patient-centered engagement aligned with external expectations and internal strategies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in patient engagement within pharma/biotech, preferably in oncology/hematology. Proven experience in early patient engagement, working with patient organizations, external stakeholders, and global strategies. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development, regulatory considerations, and digital platforms. Preferred: experience supporting patient insights in clinical development, evidence generation, and health technology assessments. Location: remote US with 25% travel for meetings, advisory boards, and congresses. No direct management responsibilities but significant agency and cross-functional leadership involved.
