Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute end-to-end omni-channel U.S. patient strategy to ensure post-launch excellence.
- Translate strategy into high-quality, compliant patient-facing tactics; own execution for unbranded/branded websites, media, social media, and CRM.
- Optimize digital performance using analytics and audience insights; maximize ROI across paid/owned/earned digital channels.
- Lead strategy and execution of new digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, Reddit, apps, and digital partnerships).
- Ensure consistency and excellence across all patient touchpoints with a patient-centric lens.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with the SMA patient and caregiver community.
- Partner with Patient Advocacy and the Patient Relationship agency to incorporate patient feedback and reflect patient voice accurately.
- Serve as a core U.S. Marketing Team member; partner with Patient Services, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Market Access, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance.
- Align patient marketing with patient support programs; develop branded patient materials.
- Communicate and champion patient brand strategy with internal/external partners.
- Partner with agency-of-record and media agency; lead patient-facing assets, event kits, and field materials.
- Prioritize post-launch tactics, optimize budget, and support promotional review and ongoing optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years in pharma/biotech marketing with significant U.S. patient/consumer marketing experience.
- 6+ years leading integrated digital marketing strategies (compliant, data-driven) that increased patient engagement.
- Experience leading patient marketing strategy/execution in specialty or rare disease.
- Neurology/neuromuscular/rare disease experience strongly preferred.
- Strong patient centricity; ability to translate insight into impactful, compliant engagement.
- Strong understanding of regulatory/legal/compliance requirements for patient-facing communications.
- Proven ability to lead agencies, manage budgets, and work in a matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset for first-launch, high-growth environments.
- Travel as needed (anticipated up to 30%).
Compensation:
- $175,000β$260,000 per year.
