Responsibilities:
- Own and run monthly, quarterly, and annual brand and patient flow forecasting; produce the analysis/output
- Diagnose drivers of forecast deviation across patient identification, treatment initiation, adherence, and discontinuation; own interpretation
- Partner with Finance on revenue planning and actuals reconciliation; defend the numbers
- Run scenario models using revised market assumptions to inform commercial decisions
- Maintain commercial data infrastructure; continuously improve insight quality and delivery speed (no handoff of data work)
- Manage vendor relationships and own data integration decisions; catch data issues early
- Build and maintain executive KPI dashboards; author the output
- Own monthly and quarterly business review analytics packages end-to-end (data pull to performance narrative)
- Build promotional effectiveness analytics (channel mix, digital engagement, speaker programs, promotional spend vs. HCP behavior/prescriptions)
- Partner with marketing to evaluate tactic performance using claims/CRM/engagement data; recommend resource allocation
- Develop closed-loop analytics connecting promotional investment to prescriber response and patient initiation
- Monitor competitors; benchmark performance vs. commercial trajectory
- Synthesize market research with real-world performance data to identify market share/positioning opportunities
- Maintain competitive trackers and deliver CI briefings with actionable implications
- Monitor scientific meetings/congress activity for competitive signals relevant to prescriber behavior
- Support pipeline asset commercial assessment; build market sizing/patient population models for pre-launch
- Partner with Medical Affairs and Clinical on indication prioritization analytics
- Develop launch readiness analytics frameworks for pipeline indications
- Build board/executive analytics packages; own the model and narrative for VP presentation
- Serve as primary analytical resource for executive leadership; deliver decision-ready analysis on demand
- Translate complex performance data into clear narratives and recommendations
- Support investor relations and due diligence requests
Qualifications:
- 6–9 years in commercial analytics, forecasting, or market research (pharma/biotech); proven experience building work independently
- Deep experience with patient-based forecast models; ability to build, run, and defend independently
- Hands-on claims data proficiency (IQVIA, Komodo, Symphony) and specialty pharmacy data at individual analyst level
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required; SQL, Python, or R strongly preferred
- Experience authoring executive-ready analytical output personally
- Marketed product experience in active commercial environment strongly preferred; oncology or rare disease context significant plus
- Ability to carry a broad analytical portfolio independently and grow into team leadership as needed
Benefits:
- Base salary range: $175K–$232K
