Associate Director, Commercial Global Data Strategy

Responsibilities:
- Define and lead global commercial data strategy roadmap; evaluate emerging data sources and market trends.
- Own commercial data sourcing: vendor selection, contracting/onboarding requirements aligned to priority use cases.
- Manage external commercial data vendor portfolio (relationships, spend, performance) to meet contractual/business expectations.
- Enforce data contract frameworks and SLA performance; monitor delivery, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.
- Optimize vendor portfolio (consolidate/eliminate underperformers) to improve cost efficiency and data effectiveness.
- Own and maintain commercial data inventory (documented, discoverable, positioned for reuse).
- Partner with CX data master/data management and enterprise data teams on ingestion, integration, governance; ensure scalability/interoperability/compliance.
- Drive adoption of standardized data governance/stewardship/quality practices; monitor data capability performance.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Franchise, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and CXO leaders; partner with Procurement/Legal on third-party data contracts.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, technology, or related field.
- 8+ years’ experience in commercial data strategy or data sourcing in pharma.
- Experience with external data sourcing and vendor management (contract negotiation, SLA oversight, performance optimization).
- Strong knowledge of commercial data domains (e.g., HCP/HCO, patient, payer).
- Experience with data cataloging or data inventory tools.

Preferred/Additional:
- MBA or relevant graduate degree; pharma/healthcare industry experience.
- Experience in capability operating model; partnering with enterprise platform/global capability teams.
- Experience with rare disease/specialty brands.

Working requirement: 20–30% travel.
