Role & Responsibilities:
- Own patient-based and demand forecasting models for assigned brand(s) across in-line and long-range horizons.
- Maintain robust forecasting methodology, including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and risk-adjusted forecasting.
- Partner with Commercial and Finance leadership on performance tracking, KPI dashboards, and business review analytics.
- Use patient-level analytics (line of therapy, patient journey, new vs. continuing, switching, persistence, adherence) to identify growth drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional analytics/data teams to apply the most relevant data sources and assumptions to forecast scenarios.
- Lead variance and root-cause analyses linking actual performance to forecast assumptions and execution drivers; reconcile patient, sales, and audit perspectives into a single source of brand-performance truth.
- Manage forecasting vendors/consultants as needed and mentor junior analysts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in a quantitative/business/related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
- 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotech commercial analytics, including brand analytics and/or forecasting.
- Experience with pharmaceutical demand and patient-based forecasting.
- Experience with syndicated/patient-level data (e.g., IQVIA NPA/NSP, LAAD, DDD, Xponent), claims, and specialty pharmacy data.
- Hands-on SQL and SAS/R/Python; data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
Preferred:
- Specialty/rare disease brand experience (ideally through a launch).
- Hands-on forecast/analytics development to track performance.
- Leadership presentation development.
- Mentoring/managing junior analysts.
