Associate Director, Biosimilar Regional Accounts

Responsibilities:
- Recruit, coach, manage, and train Biosimilar Regional Account Managers (BRAMs)
- Lead a team of BRAMs to build successful partnerships between Teva and identified customers to promote Teva’s biosimilar product portfolio
- Contribute to achievement of overall annual business objectives
- Set team objectives/expectations; formulate and execute strategy to meet/exceed performance targets
- Guide account plan creation and development; coordinate execution; monitor account plans to achieve objectives and performance targets
- Coach BRAMs on external environmental forces and emerging trends affecting healthcare/biotechnology, Teva markets/products/operations
- Provide timely, specific feedback expectations and model such behavior
- Provide frequent individual coaching/feedback using tools such as monthly business plans and annual/semi-annual performance reviews
- Develop and support direct reports’ Individual Development Plans
- Recruit, interview, hire, develop, and retain top talent
- Partner cross-departmentally (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, National Account Directors, Regional Account Managers) to ensure appropriate customer service, uncover new sales growth opportunities, and develop strategies to meet customer needs with Teva products
- Anticipate/respond to changing market conditions (biosimilar marketplace dynamics, customer needs/expectations, forward-thinking strategies)

Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (business or scientific preferred); MBA preferred
- Minimum 7 years pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales and/or account management experience
- Demonstrated success leading teams and developing talent
- Experience executing and implementing business contracts
- Strategic account management experience developing and implementing account-specific business plans; ability to coach/support others
- Minimum 2 years people management experience (preferred)
- Buy-and-bill experience (highly preferred)

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
- Effective verbal and written communication; strong organizational abilities
- Understanding of financial concepts and contracting issues specific to pharmaceutical distribution
- Understanding of patient drug access and healthcare provider payment/payer reimbursement
- Understanding of ASP, NCR, and reimbursement dynamics within IDN and clinic spaces
- Ability to travel within the region regularly, including frequent overnight travel

Travel Requirements:
- Approximately 60% throughout the US
