Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts; apply therapeutic area/clinical expertise to identify appropriate patients and optimize outcomes.
- Develop and execute tailored account strategies to drive patient access, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and implement brand, reimbursement, and patient support resources.
- Build compliant partnerships across healthcare organizations; anticipate needs and solve access/reimbursement challenges with cross-functional partners.
- Monitor healthcare/managed care changes and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Educate customers on access pathways, support programs, and operational resources; route to internal experts as needed.
- Lead efforts to establish care pathways, treatment initiation processes, and onboarding best practices.
- Deliver evidence-based clinical discussions to increase disease awareness and support informed treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, Patient Services, and Commercial teams to remove barriers and improve outcomes.
- Represent Novartis in rare disease community; build relationships with key opinion leaders.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (4-year).
- 8+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or complex field sales); 5+ years strategic account management with large healthcare systems.
- Proven commercial success; strong clinical/business/market access and reimbursement acumen.
- Ability to lead through influence; exceptional communication/negotiation and stakeholder management.
- Reside within territory or within 100 miles of border; travel 60โ€“80%; valid driverโ€™s license.

Desirable:
- Sales Leadership/National Account Management; reimbursement/market access/patient access expertise.

Driving is essential: unrestricted driverโ€™s license required.

Field-role training: complete initial training including home study.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Expected salary: $168,000โ€“$312,000/year; performance cash incentive; possible annual equity; US comprehensive benefits and time off.
