Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts; use therapeutic area expertise to help identify appropriate patients and optimize outcomes.
- Develop and execute tailored account strategies to drive patient access, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of brand, reimbursement, and patient support resources.
- Build compliant partnerships across clinical, operational, and business leaders to improve patient experience.
- Anticipate customer needs; proactively resolve complex access/reimbursement challenges with cross-functional partners.
- Monitor healthcare/managed care changes and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Educate customers on access pathways, support programs, and internal resources.
- Lead efforts to establish care pathways and treatment initiation processes that improve onboarding and long-term therapy success.
- Deliver evidence-based clinical discussions to differentiate the brand and support informed decisions.
- Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, Patient Services, and Commercial to remove barriers and improve outcomes.
- Represent Novartis in the rare disease community with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar with large, geographically dispersed teams.
- 5+ years strategic account management with complex healthcare systems (e.g., AMCs, IDNs, ACOs).
- Track record of commercial success; strong clinical/business/market access and reimbursement acumen.
- Ability to lead through influence and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Territory residence within 100 miles of border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.

Desirable Requirements:
- Sales leadership/National account experience; enterprise-level influence.
- Deep reimbursement, market access, and patient access pathway expertise.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Expected salary: $168,000–$312,000; performance incentive; possible annual equity; US comprehensive benefits and time off.

Driving: Essential function—must have fully valid/unrestricted driver’s license.
