Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts, using therapeutic area/clinical expertise to identify appropriate patients and optimize outcomes.
- Develop and execute tailored account strategies to drive patient access, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and support brand, reimbursement, and patient support resource implementation.
- Build and maintain trusted, compliant partnerships with clinical, operational, and business leaders to improve patient experience.
- Anticipate customer needs; navigate access/reimbursement challenges; engage cross-functional partners to deliver timely, customer-centric solutions.
- Monitor healthcare and managed care landscape changes and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Educate customers on access pathways, support programs, and operational resources; route to appropriate internal experts.
- Lead account efforts to establish care pathways and treatment initiation processes that support efficient onboarding and long-term therapy success.
- Deliver evidence-based clinical discussions to differentiate the brand and support informed treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, Patient Services, and Commercial partners to remove barriers and enhance outcomes.
- Represent Novartis in the rare disease community with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- 8+ years in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or complex sales environments) with large, geographically dispersed teams.
- 5+ years in strategic account management with complex healthcare systems (e.g., academic medical centers, IDNs, ACOs).
- Commercial success; strong clinical/business/market access and reimbursement acumen.
- Lead through influence; strong communication/negotiation; accountability and customer focus.
- Must reside within the territory or within 100 miles of the border; travel 60โ€“80%; valid driverโ€™s license.

Desirable Requirements:
- Sales leadership/national account or enterprise commercial experience.
- Expertise in reimbursement, market access, and patient access pathways.

Driving is essential: fully valid, unrestricted driverโ€™s license required.
