Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing – Regional Engagement Southeast, Insights and Events

Role Overview
- Field-based role (ideal location: Florida, North/South Carolina, or Georgia)
- Reports to Senior Director, US Liver Franchise Opinion Leader Programming. Focus on Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC)

Essential Duties and Job Functions
- Support development and execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan (regional engagement, insight gathering, events management)
- Align and pull through Liver Franchise strategic priorities with Marketing & Sales and cross-functional stakeholders
- Drive regional priority opportunities and activations
- Foster Gilead’s Liver leadership narrative and amplify partnership activities
- Develop and execute an insight plan (including speaker bureau and regional advisory boards when appropriate)
- Orchestrate presence at key Liver events/sponsorships; ensure engagement and alignment with commercial priorities
- Manage and direct agency partners to deliver annual tactical plan within budget
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies
- Travel up to 75%; weekend- and overnight travel required

Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years professional experience
- 8+ years MS/MA or MBA
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields required
- Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales, and commercial policies/practices
- Previous marketing/research/pharmaceutical sales experience desired
- MBA or advanced degree in business/public health desired
- Liver experience/relationships preferred
- Strong customer focus; collaborative leadership; strong interpersonal/verbal/writing skills
- Ability to simplify complex topics; adapt style to audience; strong project management
