Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing β Regional Engagement Southeast, Insights and Events (field-based; ideal location: Florida, North/South Carolina or Georgia). Reports to Senior Director, US Liver Franchise Opinion Leader Programming; focuses on Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC).
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Support development and execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan (regional engagement, insight gathering, events management).
- Coordinate Liver Franchise strategic priorities with key stakeholders across Marketing & Sales and cross-functionally.
- Drive development/implementation of regional priority opportunities and activations.
- Foster Gileadβs Liver leadership narrative and amplify partnership activities.
- Develop and execute an insight plan for key stakeholders (including speaker bureau and regional advisory boards when appropriate).
- Orchestrate presence at key Liver events and sponsorships aligned to commercial priorities.
- Manage/direct agency partners to deliver annual tactical plan within budget.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Travel/Availability:
- Weekend- and overnight travel; up to 75% travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years professional experience.
- 8+ years MS/MA or MBA.
- Bachelorβs degree in marketing or related fields (required).
- Familiarity with marketing strategy, sales, and commercial policies/practices.
- Previous experience in marketing, research and/or pharmaceutical sales (desired).
- MBA or advanced degree in business/public health (desired).
- Liver experience/relationships (preferred).
- Strong customer focus; collaborative work environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication; ability to simplify complex topics.
- Listening/adaptability to audience; project management excellence managing multiple priorities.

- Salary range: $177,905.00β$230,230.00; may include discretionary annual bonus, discretionary long-term incentives, paid time off, and benefits (company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life).
