Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing – Regional Engagement Southeast, Insights and Events (field-based; ideal location: Florida, North/South Carolina, or Georgia). Reports to Senior Director, US Liver Franchise Opinion Leader Programming. Focus on Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC); leadership, execution, stakeholder collaboration.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Support development and execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan (regional engagement, insight gathering, events).
- Coordinate Liver Franchise priorities with Marketing & Sales and cross-functionally.
- Develop and implement regional priority opportunities and activations.
- Foster Gilead’s Liver leadership narrative and amplify partnership activities.
- Develop and execute stakeholder insight plan (speaker bureau and regional advisory boards when appropriate).
- Orchestrate presence at key Liver events and sponsorships aligned to commercial priorities.
- Manage and direct agency partners to deliver annual tactical plan within budget.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Weekend/overnight travel; up to 75% travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years professional experience; 8+ years MS/MA or MBA.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (required).
- Familiarity with marketing fundamentals/strategy and sales/commercial policies; prior marketing/research/pharma sales desired.
- MBA/advanced degree (business/public health) desired.
- Preferred: Liver experience/relationships; strong customer focus; collaborative leadership.
- Strong communication and writing; ability to simplify complex topics; project management excellence; adapts to audience.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated): $177,905–$230,230 base; may include discretionary annual bonus, stock-based incentives, paid time off, and medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
