Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing – Regional Engagement Southeast, Insights and Events
Essential Duties and Job Functions
- Support development and execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan (regional engagement, insight gathering, events management).
- Pull through Liver Franchise priorities with key stakeholders; coordinate across Marketing & Sales and cross-functionally.
- Drive development and implementation of regional priority opportunities and activations.
- Foster Gilead’s Liver leadership narrative; amplify partnership activities.
- Develop and execute stakeholder insight plan (speaker bureau and regional advisory boards, as appropriate).
- Orchestrate presence at key Liver events and sponsorships, ensuring engagement and alignment to commercial priorities.
- Manage and direct agency partners to deliver annual tactical plan within budget.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- This is field-based (ideal location: Florida, North/South Carolina, or Georgia).
- Weekend- and overnight travel; up to 75% travel.
Preferred Qualifications / Requirements
- 10 years professional experience; 8+ years MS/MA or MBA.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (required).
- Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales, and commercial policies/practices.
- Previous experience in marketing, research and/or pharmaceutical sales (desired).
- MBA or other advanced business/public health degree (desired).
- Preferred: Liver experience/relationships; strong customer focus; collaborative environment; strong interpersonal/verbal/writing skills; ability to simplify complex topics; adapts style to audience.
- Demonstrated excellence in project management.

Compensation / Benefits (as stated)
- Salary range: $177,905.00 – $230,230.00; may include discretionary bonus/stock incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
