Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing – Regional Engagement Midwest/Central, Insights and Events

Role overview: Field-based role impacting the Liver franchise with a focus on Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC). Reports to the Senior Director, US Liver Franchise Opinion Leader Programming.

Responsibilities:
- Support development/execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan (regional engagement, insight gathering, events management).
- Coordinate Liver Franchise priorities with Marketing & Sales and cross-functionally.
- Drive development/implementation of regional opportunities and activations.
- Foster Gilead’s Liver leadership narrative and amplify partnership activities.
- Develop/execute insight plan (speaker bureau and regional advisory boards when appropriate).
- Orchestrate presence at key Liver events/sponsorships aligned to commercial priorities.
- Manage agency partners to deliver annual tactical plan within budget.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal/external audiences.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

People Leader accountabilities:
- Create inclusion; develop talent; empower teams.

Qualifications/skills (preferred/required):
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (required).
- 10+ years professional experience; 8+ years MS/MA or MBA.
- Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, and commercial policies/practices.
- Previous marketing and/or pharmaceutical sales experience desired; MBA/advanced degree desired.
- Liver experience/relationships preferred.
- Strong customer focus, collaboration, interpersonal/verbal/writing skills; simplify complex topics; adapt to audience.
- Excellent project management; manage multiple priorities.

Travel: up to 75% travel; availability for weekend and overnight travel.

Compensation/benefits (if applicable): Salary range $177,905–$230,230; may include discretionary bonus, stock incentives, paid time off, and medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
