Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing – Regional Engagement Midwest/Central, Insights and Events

Field-based role (Midwest: Illinois, Minnesota, Texas). Reports to Senior Director, US Liver Franchise Opinion Leader Programming. Focus: Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC). Up to 75% travel; availability for weekend- and overnight travel required.

Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan (regional engagement, insight gathering, events).
- Align Liver Franchise priorities with key stakeholders; coordinate across Marketing & Sales and cross-functionally.
- Develop and implement regional priority opportunities and activations.
- Strengthen Gilead’s Liver leadership narrative and amplify partnership activities.
- Develop and execute stakeholder insight plan (including speaker bureau and regional advisory boards as appropriate).
- Lead Gilead presence at key Liver events and sponsorships aligned to commercial priorities.
- Manage and direct agency partners to deliver the annual tactical plan within budget.
- Create and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years professional experience; 8+ years MS/MA or MBA.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales, and commercial policies/practices.
- Marketing and/or pharmaceutical sales experience desired; MBA or advanced business/public health degree desired.
- Liver experience/relationships preferred.
- Strong customer focus; collaborative environment; strong communication (verbal/writing) and ability to simplify complex topics.
- Active listening, audience-adapted communication; strong project management.

- Create inclusion; develop talent (coaching/feedback); empower teams (align goals, remove barriers, hold to account).

Compensation/Benefits (if mentioned)
- Salary range: $177,905.00–$230,230.00; may include annual bonus, stock incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
