Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing β Regional Engagement Midwest/Central, Insights and Events
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Support development and execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan (regional engagement, insight gathering, events management).
- Coordinate Liver Franchise strategic priorities across Marketing & Sales and cross-functionally.
- Drive development/implementation of regional priority opportunities and activations.
- Foster the Liver leadership narrative and amplify key partnership activities.
- Develop and execute stakeholder insight plans (speaker bureau and regional advisory boards as appropriate).
- Orchestrate Gilead presence at key Liver events and sponsorships aligned to commercial priorities.
- Manage agency partners to deliver annual tactical plan within budget.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Travel/Location:
- Field-based role; ideal candidate in Midwest (Illinois, Minnesota, Texas).
- Availability for weekend- and overnight travel; up to 75% travel.
Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:
- 10 years professional experience.
- 8+ years MS/MA or MBA.
- Bachelorβs degree in marketing or related field (required).
- Marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales and commercial policy/practice familiarity.
- Previous marketing and/or pharmaceutical sales experience (desired).
- MBA or advanced degree in business/public health (desired).
- Liver experience/relationships (preferred); strong customer focus.
- Collaborative leadership; strong interpersonal/communication/writing; can simplify complex topics.
- Project management excellence; manages multiple priorities.

Compensation/Benefits (explicitly stated):
- Salary range: $177,905.00β$230,230.00. May include discretionary bonus, stock-based incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
