Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing β Regional Engagement Midwest/Central, Insights and Events
Responsibilities / Duties
- Support development and execution of the PBC Marketing strategic plan (regional engagement, insight gathering, events).
- Coordinate Liver Franchise priorities with Marketing & Sales and cross-functionally.
- Drive development/implementation of regional priority opportunities and activations.
- Foster the Liver leadership narrative and amplify partnership activities.
- Develop and execute an insight plan for key stakeholders (e.g., speaker bureau, regional advisory boards when appropriate).
- Manage Gilead presence at key Liver events and sponsorships aligned to commercial priorities.
- Manage/direct agency partners to deliver the annual tactical plan within budget.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Required / Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in marketing or related field (required).
- 10 years professional experience.
- 8+ years MS/MA or MBA.
- Familiarity with marketing strategy, sales, and commercial policies/practices.
- Previous marketing and/or pharmaceutical sales experience desired.
- MBA/advanced business or public health degree desired.
- Preferred: Liver experience/relationships; strong customer focus; collaborative environment; strong interpersonal/verbal/writing skills (simplify complex topics); adapt style to audience; listen and understand motivations/needs; demonstrated excellence in project management.

- Create inclusion, develop talent, and empower teams.
Travel / Location
- Field-based; located in Midwest (Illinois, Minnesota, Texas).
- Weekend/overnight travel; up to 75% travel.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Salary range: $177,905.00β$230,230.00. Discretionary bonus/LTIs and benefits package may apply (medical, dental, vision, life).
