Associate Director (AD), Liver Franchise Marketing β Regional Engagement Midwest/Central, Insights and Events
Essential Duties / Job Functions:
- Support development and execution of the PBC (Primary Biliary Cholangitis) Marketing strategic plan (regional engagement, insight gathering, events).
- Coordinate Liver Franchise strategic priorities with Marketing & Sales and cross-functionally.
- Drive regional priority opportunities and activations.
- Foster Gileadβs Liver leadership narrative and amplify key partnership activities.
- Develop and execute an insight plan (speaker bureau and regional advisory boards when appropriate).
- Orchestrate presence at key Liver events/sponsorships aligned with commercial priorities.
- Manage and direct agency partners to deliver the annual tactical plan within budget.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Field-based role in the Midwest (Illinois, Minnesota, Texas); weekend- and overnight travel; up to 75% travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years professional experience.
- 8+ years MS/MA or MBA; Bachelorβs in marketing or related field required.
- Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales, and commercial policies/practices.
- Prior marketing and/or pharmaceutical sales desired; advanced degree (MBA/public health) desired.
- Preferred: liver experience/relationships; strong customer focus; collaborative environment.
- Strong interpersonal/communication/writing skills; project management excellence; ability to simplify complex topics.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: $177,905.00β$230,230.00; may be eligible for discretionary bonus and long-term incentives; paid time off; company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
