Role: Associate Director, Access & Reimbursement (ADAR), field-based and remote, supporting patient access and reimbursement strategies across West Texas (San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Lubbock). Objectives: educate healthcare providers and staff on access programs, navigate reimbursement barriers, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize patient access for specified products. Responsibilities: engage with complex accounts including academic centers and integrated delivery networks, provide education on acquisition pathways (buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy), analyze reimbursement issues, support policy navigation, and collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Market Access, Patient Support, Marketing). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in Pharma/biotech with expertise in patient services, market access, or account management; experience with complex healthcare systems, specialty products, and reimbursement pathways. Preferred: advanced degree, strategic account management skills, deep familiarity with specialty pharmacy networks, and knowledge of payer policies. High-value specifics: focus on specialized access/reimbursement for biologics or cell/gene therapies in complex healthcare environments; extensive travel (60-80%) within broad geography; driver’s license essential. Work setup: remote field role within territory, requiring daily travel. The position involves proactive account management, cross-departmental coordination, and in-depth understanding of healthcare reimbursement landscapes.
