Role: Associate Director, Access & Reimbursement (ADAR) — a field-based, remote role supporting patient access and reimbursement strategies within West Texas (San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Lubbock). Responsibilities: provide in-person/virtual education to complex healthcare accounts on access/reimbursement topics, support integration of Novartis products into practice workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address payer policies, billing, coding, and claims issues. Manage pull-through of local coverage decisions, analyze reimbursement barriers, and educate healthcare providers on acquisition pathways, including buy-and-bill and alternative channels like white/brown bagging. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required, with 5+ years in pharma/biotech in Patient Services, Market Access, or sales, including 2+ years supporting specialty products and complex healthcare systems. Deep expertise in reimbursement pathways (specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill), and experience working with specialty products via pharmacy networks. Must reside within or near territory, with ability to travel 60-80%. High-value specifics: focus on specialty therapies, complex accounts, and reimbursement logistics, with an emphasis on integrated delivery networks and alternative acquisition channels. Collaboration includes account executives, Patient Support Center, and cross-functional teams. Work setup: remote, field-based with extensive travel.
