Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs and staff on payer-specific coverage criteria and documentation to remove access/reimbursement barriers for prescriptions in progress, including relevant processes/forms and Nuvalent patient financial support programs.
- Educate HCP staff on patient support (PS) programs, resources, enrollment processes, and application updates.
- Identify and resolve payer/account/patient access barriers using data-driven insights, dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Coordinate with specialty pharmacy, PS operations, payer, market access, medical affairs, and others to support patient access.
- Triage and resolve escalated PS/access questions and concerns; educate regional field teams on PS programs, payer nuances, trends, and tools/training materials.
- Develop patient access and reimbursement strategies with cross-functional teams while monitoring regulatory, payer, and industry trends.
- Oversee PS programs (financial assistance and non-commercial specialty pharmacy); coordinate with PS operations on patient case updates and escalate as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 8+ years biopharma experience; 3+ years oncology field reimbursement manager (FRM) or access reimbursement manager (ARM) with relationships at major oncology centers.
- Extensive experience in oral/specialty oncology access, rare disease launch, program implementation, and payer navigation.
- Prior experience supporting HCPs with reimbursement barriers, prior authorizations, appeals, and education.
- Knowledge of national health insurers (commercial & government), including billing/coding.
- Compliance with HIPAA, OIG, and FDA regulations; non-promotional role.
- Preferred: clinical role experience (NSCLC), Patient Services program oversight, vendor management; Prior Authorization Certified Specialist.
- Travel: up to 20% domestically.
