Role Summary
Associate Clinical Data Science and Evidence Operations Director. Lead of Clinical Data Science & Evidence (CDSE) operations, providing oversight and guidance to strategic projects and coordinating across CDSE and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Ensure CDSE alignment on engagements in CMR LT and PDP Forum Meetings
- Develop and deliver key deliverables including monthly CDSE status reporting against target objectives and KPIs
- Represent CDSE in operational forums across NNI, ensuring strategic alignment among related functions with CDSE operations
- Support annual and long-term strategic planning: set up the annual strategy to action process; align departmental strategy to overall CMR and NNI strategy; update Strategy2Action quarterly
- Support CDSE-led strategic initiatives and other cross-functional initiatives focusing on strategic planning and organizational development
- Develop agendas for monthly and quarterly meetings, drive meeting flow and ensure follow-up on action items; coordinate with other support and strategic functions
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships inside and outside the organization to achieve key business objectives
- Serve as a liaison between staff, senior leaders, stakeholders and VP with other operational units; drive effective decision-making within CDSE senior leadership
- Support development and maintenance of CDSE functional stakeholder mapping
- Provide additional support including culture activities and meeting materials
- Develop and execute CDSE communication plans with TA leadership to ensure alignment with NN Corporate, NNI and CDSE strategies
- Ensure CDSE activities and objectives are translated and understood across the organization
- Develop and maintain NNI CDSE SharePoint site and tools to ensure governance compliance
- Responsible for CDSE internal and external newsletter development and dissemination and other training engagements and communications activities
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Masterβs degree required, preferably in healthcare-related field (health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research, public health, health services research, biostatistics, medicine, clinical research, biomedical sciences)
- Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and R&D processes
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar clinical/medical/research roles in the pharmaceutical industry or health care consulting
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentations) and stakeholder management skills
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize, execute and follow up in a timely manner; experience working across functions globally
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver under tight timelines
- Strong project management skills
- Analytical capabilities to synthesize complex information into user-friendly formats and presentations
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
