Responsibilities:
- Define field medical strategy, HCP engagement plans, and coverage approach within corporate/regulatory guidelines.
- Develop field effectiveness frameworks (KPIs, activity metrics, qualitative impact measures).
- Support field medical launch readiness (territory design, targeting, resource planning).
- Plan/coordinate conference strategy, coverage, and reporting; attend global/national/regional conferences.
- Maintain therapeutic area expertise; review journals, attend scientific/technical meetings, and share learnings.
- Manage operational systems (CRM, insights platforms, dashboards) and establish scalable processes for field planning/interaction reporting/compliance.
- Generate/report/disseminate field insights and partner cross-functionally (Clinical, Commercial, HEOR) on actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Medical Training; create field tools/resources and support field team development.
- Deliver high-quality presentations/interactions and provide balanced medical information; skilled in issues management/off-label safety questions based on available data.

Qualifications/Skills:
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or other advanced healthcare degree/related experience.
- Preferred: 5+ years medical affairs/field medical excellence with high performance; prior rare disease and/or skeletal dysplasia experience.
- Excellent communication/presentation/teaching skills; ability to dialogue with KOLs/researchers; relationship-building.
- Clinical research knowledge and pharmaceutical development/approval understanding.
- Ability to organize/prioritize with minimal supervision.
- Travel 50–70%; occasional international travel; must reside in the US.
