Key Responsibilities
- Engage and build peer-level relationships with formulary decision makers, C-suite healthcare leaders, clinical pharmacists, pharmacy directors, and key clinical leaders influencing formulary decisions within IDNs and health systems.
- Conduct balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange to address data needs, gather insights, and communicate the clinical and economic value of Alnylam’s portfolio.
- In collaboration with the Health System Director (HSD), develop account-specific strategic plans, including assessment of key influencers and decision makers.
- Collect and share evidence gaps and insights to inform Alnylam’s Value, Evidence, and Strategy (VESt) Team and advance meaningful data generation.
- Provide HEOR and outcomes data to support formulary review, clinical pathway development, and health system value assessments.
- Support regional/national IDN/healthcare systems congresses as needed; collaborate with MSL colleagues to align territory-level strategy.
- Maintain understanding of compliance requirements and applicable PhRMA, OIG, FDA, and Alnylam policies; apply business acumen to prioritize engagements.

Qualifications
- Required: Advanced degree (MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD in a relevant life science discipline). HEOR fellowship, MS, MBA, or MPH is a plus.
- 5+ years Medical Affairs experience in pharma/biotech; prior field-based health system/IDN experience strongly preferred; VA/DoD experience a plus.
- Demonstrated pharmacoeconomic/health outcomes research understanding; solid knowledge of US healthcare ecosystems, IDN structure, and formulary decision-making.
- Strong therapeutic area knowledge (rare disease preferred); knowledge of regulatory/compliance environment (PhRMA, OIG, FDA).
- Excellent written/verbal communication; travel up to 75%, reside in assigned territory, valid driver’s license required.

Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- US pay range: $187,700.00–$253,900.00; eligible for annual short-term incentive and annual long-term incentive.
