Role Summary
Area Therapy Advancement Manager (Frontier Region) for Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Electrophysiology. Leads the US Commercial Marketing therapy advancement efforts for EP in the Frontier Region, overseeing a field team of Regional Therapy Advancement Managers. Responsible for developing and executing EP marketing strategies, aligning with US Commercial Marketing and Field Sales to expand patient access to therapies such as cardiac catheter ablation, and partnering with Professional Education, Health Economics and Market Access, and Strategic Customer Group to optimize resources.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop Regional Therapy Advancement Team: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the Therapy Advancement team; manage performance and development; coach RTAMs to ensure consistent execution and growth.
- Drive Strategic Alignment and Business Planning: Identify priority accounts, align objectives with leadership, develop business-critical goals, ensure accountability, and contribute to sales area strategy.
- Advocate for Electrophysiology Programs: Engage health system administration and hospital leadership to gain alignment on projects and accelerate access to care; promote resources from Commercial Marketing, Professional Education, HEMA, and SCG.
- Advance Awareness and Market Presence: Increase AFib awareness among stakeholders; connect physicians with marketing initiatives; plan and execute national marketing projects and campaigns to expand market presence.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with field sales teams; maintain communication with RTAMs, sales leadership, and EP leadership to drive execution and consistency.
- Ensure Compliance and Operational Excellence: Uphold Health Care Compliance rules; complete mandatory training and administrative tasks within deadlines.
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum of 8 years professional work experience and 4+ years of sales and marketing experience.
- Required: Previous experience in the medical device industry.
- Required: People leadership experience.
- Required: Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Required: Ability to build strong customer relationships with a consultative approach.
- Required: Expertise in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships across an organization.

- Required: A valid driver's license, with the ability to travel up to 60% (including overnights and/or weekends).
- Required: Residence within, or willingness to relocate to the geography.
- Preferred: Prior sales and/or clinical experience in electrophysiology.
- Preferred: Prior sales and/or clinical experience in cardiovascular therapeutic area(s).
Education
- Bachelorโs degree required.
- Masterโs degree or equivalent preferred.

- Location: Field Based
- Travel: 60%, including some evenings and weekends
- Physical Working Conditions: Must be able to drive and stand for long periods, particularly while observing EP cases wearing a lead apron
