Role Summary

Senior Regional Sales Manager, Monarch – US West, serves as the point person for end-to-end area program development and clinical success, including procedure sales, support and driving utilization for Johnson & Johnson’s Surgical Robotics Technologies. Responsible for hiring, developing and leading a team of Clinical Specialists, Account Managers and Regional Managers, managing and executing business plans, and guiding clinical and technical product discussions, demonstrations, and post-sale adoption to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute quarterly business plans which achieve procedure sales and disposable sales revenue targets within the assigned geographical territory.
  • Maintain a detailed, regularly updated strategic business plan for the territory and assist the Account Manager team with developing and executing their own plans.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing their team.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and strengthens its presence in the geography.
  • Recruit, coach, and monitor the performance of all direct reports.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with the Account Manager team and customers to understand needs.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and forecasts to the Area Director and Sales Management team.
  • Communicate sales successes and strategies within the Area, with peers and with the Director of Sales.
  • Collaborate with Area Territory Manager and Key Accounts to maximize Auris Health capital system and procedure sales.
  • Lead product technical and clinical demonstrations to drive sales and adoption of Auris Health technologies.
  • Execute referral education activities that increase procedure sales.
  • Implement post-sales installation, adoption protocols in collaboration with sales and service teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Support new customers in clinical adoption of Auris Health technologies.
  • Ensure customers achieve clinical and economic goals with the new technology and drive higher utilization rates.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all Auris Health products and stay ahead of industry and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 8+ years of relevant healthcare experience required
  • 3+ years in capital sales required
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical product and clinical knowledge of disease states to physicians and economic buyers
  • Travel extensively up to 75%, including overnight travel within the assigned territory
  • Experience working in hospital/ASC settings, attending live patient cases as required, and wearing protective gear
  • Self-starter with autonomy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to share strategies with management and peers
  • Receptive to feedback and comfortable working in a matrix team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to communicate frequently with sales management and the broader organization
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820
