Area Sales Leader, Monarch Urology (Capital Corridor Territory)
Purpose
- Field-based role driving commercialization success within an assigned territory.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Develop and execute quarterly business plans to achieve capital system sales, procedure growth, and disposable revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strategic territory plans (account segmentation, funnel management, forecast updates, launch prioritization).
- Build relationships with physicians, nurses, administrators, value analysis stakeholders, and economic buyers.
- Lead product/technical/clinical discussions and demonstrations to support evaluation, conversion, and adoption.
- Present value propositions; collaborate on pricing, program terms, and commercial strategies.
- Coordinate post-sale installation readiness, training, launch support, and adoption plans.
- Support customers in achieving clinical, operational, and economic goals; drive long-term utilization and satisfaction.
- Partner with leadership to execute referral education, account development, and utilization growth.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Monarch Urology, kidney stone workflows, customer economics, and competitive trends.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 2+ years relevant healthcare/medical device/B2B sales (4+ preferred for senior); 2+ years capital/complex medical sales preferred.
- Ability to communicate technical, clinical, and economic value to physicians and economic buyers.
- Strong business planning, forecasting, opportunity management, and account strategy skills.
- Preferred: experience in urology/endourology/robotics/OR-based selling.
- Ability to work in hospital/ASC settings (including live cases with required PPE) and travel up to 75% within territory; valid driverβs license.
- Ability to work in regulated environments per quality/healthcare requirements.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Base pay: $110,000β$150,000.
- Eligible for sales incentive compensation/MBO and J&J Fleet (company car or car allowance).
- Vacation up to 120 hours/year; sick time up to 40 hours/year; holiday pay up to 13 days/year; work/personal/family time up to 40 hours/year.
