Role Summary

Area Sales Director (Minnesota/Wisconsin) responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic plans for the Area to deliver results, recruiting and developing Clinical and Institutional Specialists, and managing area revenue and expenses. Provides sales direction, coaches teams, and ensures compliance with Indivior policies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver area goals/results such as sales, market share, and targeted calls.
  • Manage expenses and profitability, monitor ROI.
  • Participate in and contribute to business objectives.
  • Develop and implement business plans, strategies, marketing plans, and budget control ensuring policy compliance.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor Clinical and Institutional Specialist assignments; provide ongoing feedback.
  • Plan and conduct required area meetings.
  • Work with National Sales Directors and HR to reduce turnover and vacancies.
  • Implement and monitor field-based training.
  • Conduct routine field visits; coach and counsel to improve selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Develop sales team; provide counseling and career development planning.
  • Maintain technical expertise and competitive product knowledge.
  • Adapt to changing conditions to maintain professional relationships.
  • Ensure field personnel store equipment/records and promotional materials per requirements.
  • Adhere to Fleet policies and programs for self and team.
  • Overnight travel as required.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: BS/BA degree; advanced degree a plus; 5+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/healthcare or related experience.
  • 3+ years in a people manager role; related disease space experience; injectable experience preferred.
  • Specialty Pharmacy and Specialty Distributor experience preferred.
  • Experience selling complex specialty and buy-and-bill products preferred.
  • Experience selling a drug device or technology requiring physician protocol changes preferred.
  • Valid driver's license; computer proficient.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Education

  • BS/BA required; advanced degree preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for long periods; lift 35 lbs as necessary.
  • Travel long distances by car or other modes; domestic and international travel as required; overnights >50%.
