Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of District Sales Managers; indirectly influence and develop an Area (East or West) team of sales representatives.
- Lead, motivate, and direct the team; ensure training in product knowledge, market conditions, market access, brand strategy/tactics, corporate policies, and targeted business planning.
- Design and implement short- and long-term business plans to achieve commercial objectives and drive sales revenue with targeted accounts.
- Contribute to national sales strategies while ensuring field execution to exceed revenue and market share goals.
- Monitor launch KPIs and business performance metrics; identify opportunities and implement corrective actions to maximize velocity and market penetration.
- Model a culture of performance and accountability using data-driven tools and differentiated sales enablement.
- Manage and evaluate field performance; provide coaching, verbal/written guidance, follow-up, and development.
Qualifications (Requirements):
- Bachelorโs degree from an accredited college or university.
- 10+ years of management experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- 2nd line sales leader experience (ability to lead leaders).
- Proven ability to lead teams through growth, change, and launch complexity.
- Valid driverโs license; ability to meet overnight travel demands (~50% in field).
Skills/Experience (Preferred):
- Cross-functional experience: Sales Training, Market Access, Marketing, Commercial Operations.
- Product launch and sales force build-out experience.
- Allergy/respiratory/immunology experience.
- Strong judgment/strategic decision-making; relationship-building with KOLs.
