Main Responsibilities:
- Engage Pulmonology customers within assigned territory and deliver clinically focused messages to introduce, launch, grow brand-share and revenue, and consistently deliver product goals for asthma and COPD.
- Collaborate with field stakeholders (e.g., Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement/Market Access, Thought Leader Liaisons) to address customer needs, identify market trends, develop strategies aligned to brand/corporate objectives, and ensure account success.
- Develop relationships with Pulmonology experts and biologic coordinators, office staff, and other healthcare personnel and patient advocacy groups.
- Identify opportunities and develop strategic business plans to drive utilization and grow territory business.
- Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
- Maximize territory budget to execute strategies and generate/grow business.
- Participate in and help lead sales initiatives (e.g., congresses, local/regional meetings, medical conferences).
- Own business opportunities in the geography, including calling on large group practices and key targets.
- Establish relationships with thought leaders to drive industry-leading customer value.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree from an accredited four-year college/university.
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales experience.
- Ability to learn and apply technical/scientific product information.
- Ability to travel as needed within the territory.
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity and compliance.
- Ability to operate as a team player.
- Valid Driverโs License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years selling biologics (self-injectable or office-administered IV).
- 2+ years selling asthma/COPD or related immunology disorders (strongly preferred).
- 2+ years calling on Pulmonologists.
- Launch experience in specialty care/biologics.
- Alliance/matrix partnership experience; advanced clinically based selling skills; experience training office staff.
