Main Responsibilities
- Engage in account-based B2B interactions with customer segments (Pediatrics, Family/General Practice, IDN/IHNs, Health Systems, FQHCs) using clinically focused selling messages to create/grow revenue and deliver Sanofi Vaccines portfolio goals.
- Act as an “account orchestrator” to improve customer/patient outcomes by coordinating cross-functional internal support.
- Grow portfolio share and revenue; deliver product goals.
- Serve as a therapeutic area expert; position/differentiate products.
- Collaborate with field stakeholders (Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, strategic account managers, Hospital business managers) to address customer needs.
- Analyze market dynamics/trends and develop strategies to meet brand/corporate objectives and maximize account success in assigned geography.
- Use account/territory data and insights to help HCPs operate more effectively; leverage AI/digital tools for ABM strategy.
- Identify opportunities and build strategic business plans to increase utilization and grow territory business.
- Understand/differentiate contracting and competitive offerings; present via financial presentations.
- Execute a buy/bill model (pricing analysis, price calculator usage, product shipping, contract compliance, securing amendments).
- Use flexible sales methodologies including remote selling.
- Plan and execute local promotional speaker programs/activities.
- Maximize territory budget to support strategy execution.
- Participate in sales-support initiatives (e.g., congresses, meetings, medical conferences).
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/life sciences and/or B2B sales experience.
- Broad understanding of healthcare environment/decision-making/market trends; proven ability to access decision makers.
- Strong commercial acumen; strategic and critical thinking/problem solving.
- Ability to navigate a hybrid environment and determine optimal HCP selling model; adjust priorities dynamically.
- Omnichannel experience; ability to execute engagement via appropriate channels.
- Demonstrated data/analytics skills and ability to derive actionable insights.
- Passion for science; proactive learning on disease-state, treatments, and trends.
- Ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide feedback, and prioritize multiple products.
- Field sales experience influencing decision makers.
- Self-directed, organized; excellent written and oral communication.
- Valid driver’s license; eligible for insurance; able to operate a vehicle.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Graduate degree.
- 5+ years pharma/biotech/medical device sales experience (B2B).
- 2+ years vaccines account management experience.
- Enhanced digital acumen; strong clinical acumen.
- Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting, or Finance.
- Proficient with MS Office and customer management databases.
